Advocacy & Thought Leadership - Why

Currently there are many advocates in Silicon Valley  for education as well as interested parties who may have concerns about education. These advocates and interested parties do not necessarily have the same agenda or may even have contradictory positions. Often groups and individuals are operating in a "data free" environment as there are few venues for players and interested parties (as well as the general public) to share information and opinions in a meaningful way.

SVEF brings these voices together to promote informed support for schools from all segments of the Silicon Valley Community. While widespread consensus may not be possible, providing an opportunity for all to be informed and listen to diverse perspectives will help lead to greater understanding and promote the overall goal of helping Santa Clara become the leader in preparing students for post-secondary education.
