Technology - Our Approach

The Open Source Advisory Board (OSAB) periodically assess needs of the education community, researches available technology and customize it to serve our community’s needs. In addition they:

  • Performs needs assessment from the education community (students, parents and educators) through focus groups, surveys and forums
  • Researches and evaluate open source tools and adapt them to provide customized solutions
  • Develops new open source tools
  • Provides a forum for educators and the community at large to share ideas and resources of specific education related topics

One of the main tools we use to close the gap is the Open Source software.
